Curator's Office specializes in a variety of arts-related services to meet a broad spectrum of client needs. All of these services are provided in a welcoming micro-gallery setting.
We organize all aspects of solo and group exhibitions of contemporary and modern art for museums, university galleries, non-profit galleries, commercial galleries, corporations and other institutions. We develop educational publications and programs to complement these exhibitions.
With clients, we focus the goals for the collection and purchase art through reputable sources. Additionally, we arrange for framing, lighting, installation, and conservation. For private and corporate clients, Curator's Office has the capability to digitize and document your complete collection for insurance and estate management purposes. Additionally, we write and oversee the production of educational catalogs and promotional brochures. Curator's Office works with all budgets.
We write catalogs, brochures, web text, press releases and broadsides for museums, galleries, and institutions. Curator's Office develops critical or art historic pieces for discipline-specific or scholarly journals. We assist in grant writing and consulting for young non-profit arts organizations.
Curator's Office can coordinate lectures on a variety of topics in contemporary art and art world practices. We organize stimulating tours to museums, galleries and artist studios. We also develop children's workshops with educators.
Every eight weeks, an invited curator (critic, artist, collector, educator, museum staff, student, gallerist) displays a tightly focused presentation of an artist or art collective's work. The invited curator provides an explanation for the selection and defines the cultural significance of that particular artist to contemporary art practice. From time to time, artists are invited to interpret the "office/micro-gallery space."
