Office 'Business': It's in the Cards

Surely countless pens expired in the making of "Business," Andy Moon Wilson's dense drawing exhibition at Curator's Office. Thumbing his nose at the 9-to-5 world, Wilson doodled comic-book monsters, checkerboards and wisecracks on 1,000 business card-size papers; these, along with a handful of larger drawings, are affixed in neat rows to the gallery wall. From this visual assault a persona emerges: He's resentful, misanthropic and enjoying an extended adolescence. He's also sharp and his satire quite cutting. Though Wilson's drafting skills suggest the artist might quit his day job, his "Business" character should remain chained to a cubicle.
"Business" at Curator's Office, 1515 14th St. NW, Wednesday-Saturday noon-6 p.m., 202-387-1008, to April 7
